In Memory of Catherine Christie, our WQM Warrior.

It brings us great sadness to hear that Catherine Christie passed a few weeks ago from complications with Rett Syndrome. We were incredibly honored to have her and her father, Gordon Christie, join us for our inaugural Women’s Quarter Marathon, and was inspired by their dedication and love.

Her spirit lives with us and we’d like to share with our WQM community that a special memorial run has been arranged in honor of her. Please join the Christie family and friends in a small balloon release, wearing pink (Catherine’s favorite color) and run/walk a 5k route at La Centerra.

Donations will be accepted onsite that will go to Girl Power 2 Cure, a non-profit dedicated in growing HOPE for girls with Rett Syndrome.
